Civils’ Foreman Duties Will Include

  • Management of subcontractors/general workforce on site
  • Planning works in an efficient manner to ensure
  • Capable of Setting-out from engineers’ drawings, site surveys, as-built drawings
  • Reading & interpreting drawings for layouts, materials measure etc.
  • Programme targets are achieved
  • Liaise with client’s representatives/Design Team members as appropriate
  • Ensure that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards.
  • Ensure work is carried out to the highest of quality standards.
  • Ordering and control of materials on site.
  • Maintaining the site records – site diary, concrete register, records of deliveries etc.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience on civil sites is essential
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation is required
  • Must be proficient in IT

The successful candidate must have experience in managing day to day running of the site including organizing direct employees and subcontractors to ensure daily progress on site, liaising with client to clarify any design queries, managing material deliveries, managing health & safety on site, managing site logistics, managing site housekeeping, reporting back to management.

Day to day duties and responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities:

Set-up, operate and maintain welding machine and accessories
Preparing materials for welding

  • Use of all hand tools, air tools, electric tools, hand torches
  • Ability to problem solve, able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Install carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems off ISO drawings in the workshop
  • Candidates must have experience as a coded TIG welder.
