This job is based in Dundalk

An opportunity has arisen for a Riggers at our site to support the site team in their day-to-day activities. You will be responsible for setting up or repairing rigging for a construction project in a safe, competent manner.

Your duties will include but are not limited to;

• Align, level, and anchor machinery
• Attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving, using hand and power tools
• Attach pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures such as beams, ceilings, and gin pole booms, using bolts and clamps.
• Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces, using chainfalls, gin poles, gallows frames, and other equipment
• Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use.
• References required
• Experience on Pharma safety protocols is a must.
• Taking instruction from Chargehand and helping Pipefitters and welders.

Salary: €24.89 per hour

The role would suit individuals with general building expertise.

Works include underpinning, all groundworks, internal works, brickwork, carpentry etc.

Digger and dumper experience. would be an advantage, working on bridges all around Munster pointing shuttering and concreting would be some of the tasks you would be doing. You will have to adapt with travelling.

References required.

Own transport essential.

This job is based in a workshop in North Cork.

Responsibilities:

Handle or position work with or without fixtures as required or instructed Perform welding using one or more welding processes as required per job order.

Welding pipes, fittings, support attachments and miscellaneous pipe supports in accordance with all applicable codes, standards, drawings and specifications

Set-up, operate and maintain welding machine and accessories
Preparing materials for welding

• Use of all hand tools, air tools, electric tools, hand torches
• Ability to problem solve, able to complete tasks with minimal supervision

• Install carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems off ISO drawings in the workshop
• Candidates must have experience as a coded TIG welder.
• An ability to weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions.
• Read and interpret drawings and welding procedures
• Experience and certs on an Orbital Welder would be an advantage but not essential.

Requirements:

Read Isometric drawings
Ability to make fixtures and setups if required
Comply with all Safety, Health, Environmental and other Company policies, procedures, requirements and maintain a clean working environment
Ability to work within a team and on your own initiative

Weld test will have to be done as this is the company’s protocol
Qualifications and certificates must be up to date

References required

Minimum of 5 Years experience in a similar role

We are looking for a Scaffolder for sites in West Cork

Fixing guard rails and safety netting taking down the scaffolding after a job is finished. Setting base plates on the ground at regular intervals (these stop the upright poles slipping)putting up the scaffolding poles (standards) and attaching the horizontal tubes (ledgers) to them with couples unloading scaffolding equipment at the site fixing the scaffolding to the building or structure to make it more stable, using short ‘tie tubes’ laying planks (battens) across the scaffolding for workers to walk on Safe pass manual handling Digital card & CSCS Scaffolding cert have to be up to date.
