Industrial Plumbing Chargehand

Plumber Foreman to join our client, an Irish mechanical contractor with work based in Cork. The role is a permanent one with the potential of overtime. You will oversee a team of plumbers and be expected to carry out a range of specified building maintenance works both as an individual craft professional and as a member of a multi-skilled team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team of plumbing personnel
• Inspect work while in progress and on completion
• Undertaking repairs and maintenance on domestic, commercial & industrial properties
• Skill in troubleshooting difficult or hard-to-detect leaks and operating problems
• Ensuring Health and Safety requirements are being met at all times
• Ability to record all maintenance and installation work
• Update job requests using a mobile device as required

Key Requirements:

• 5 years experience post-qualification
• Domestic, Industrial, commercial experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Self-motivating
• Attention to detail is essential
• Safe Pass & Manual Handling have to be uptodate.
• References required.
• Own transport is essential for this role.
